Get ready, fight fans! The new Street Fighter movie trailer has dropped, and it's packed with surprises, including some familiar faces from the worlds of wrestling and music!
The trailer, released on Thursday night, showcases a star-studded cast. Among them are WWE icons Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes, alongside the one and only 50 Cent.
Reigns, who also shared a photo with actor Jason Momoa on X, is set to portray the formidable Akuma. Momoa himself will be bringing Blanka to life on the big screen. Meanwhile, Rhodes will be stepping into the role of Guile, and 50 Cent will be playing Balrog.
Rhodes gave fans a sneak peek into his preparation for the role during an October 2nd appearance on the Pat McAfee Show. He expressed his excitement about the physicality of Guile, stating, "The physicality part of Guile I felt was an easy pickup." He also revealed his commitment to performing his own stunts, including the iconic Sonic Boom and Flash Kick.
But here's where it gets exciting for the purists: The film, directed by Kitao Sakurai, is set in 1993, a nostalgic nod to the golden era when Super Street Fighter II dominated arcades and home consoles.
The Street Fighter movie is slated to hit theaters on October 16, 2026.
